The fund aims to:

Help those aged 25 and over who wish to further their skills, training or education.

 Successful applicants will be:

  • A NZ citizen

  • Aged 25 and over

  • A tertiary student enrolled in a full-year course.

  • Preference will be given to applicants who live in smaller centres or rural areas.

Two grants per annum:

16 January 2026 to 1 March 2026 &

18 May 2026 to 1 July 2026

This grant is for up to $500.
