The fund aims to:
Encourage residents of Hawke’s Bay Region to undertake further education or training in primary industry studies.
Bursary recipients will ideally seek employment in the Hawke’s Bay area to ensure that the benefits of their learning can be passed on to the Hawke’s Bay community and its industries.
Applicants will be required to attend an interview, either in person or online.
Eligibility Criteria:
NZ citizens, tertiary students studying fulltime aged 18+ years.
Applicants must be residents of Wairoa, Napier, Hastings or Central Hawkes Bay local authority areas.
Study should be in the primary industry field.
The grant is to be used for textbooks, course fees, online resources and equipment.
This bursary is awarded for one year only.
If you have been a recipient of this bursary previously, you are not eligible to reapply.

This grant is for up to $2,000.
