This Grant is intended to support projects and activities focussed on children,the elderly, community, conservation, counselling or education.
Background:
This grant is possible thanks to the generosity of the family of Cynthia Collier. Cynthia grew up in rural New Zealand, firstly as a child in the Rangitikei/Manawatu Area and then for over 50 years of her adult life on Wakarua Station near Taihape. Cynthia was a passionate supporter of her community and the work of Rural Women New Zealand.
The following must be included with the application:
An outline of the project and expected benefit
A budget for the overall project with quotes and/or estimates
Income already secured for the project including any contribution from the applicant
A list of applications to other funding sources including the amount applied for
A reference from, and contact details for, an independent individual or organisation who is suitably qualified to provide support for the application
Most recent annual balance sheet
Charities Commission number (if applicable).
Applications are open 16 March 2026 to 30 April 2026
One Grant of $5000 will be made per annum for three years 2024, 2025 and 2026.
