Cynthia Collier Memorial Grant

The fund aims to:

This Grant is intended to support projects and activities focussed on children, the elderly, community, conservation, counselling or education.

Background:

This grant is possible thanks to the generosity of the family of Cynthia Collier. Cynthia grew up in rural New Zealand, firstly as a child in the Rangitikei/Manawatu Area and then for over 50 years of her adult life on Wakarua Station near Taihape. Cynthia was a passionate supporter of her community and the work of Rural Women New Zealand.

 The following must be included with the application:

  • An outline of the project and expected benefit

  • A budget for the overall project with quotes and/or estimates

  • Income already secured for the project including any contribution from the applicant

  • A list of applications to other funding sources including the amount applied for

  • A reference from, and contact details for, an independent individual or organisation who is suitably qualified to provide support for the application

  • Most recent annual balance sheet

  • Charities Commission number (if applicable).

Applications are open 16 March 2026 to 30 April 2026

One Grant of up to $5000.
