Adna Poppe Memorial Bursary
The fund aims to:
Provide a monetary bursary for any person who resides in the Rangitikei-Oroua area, who is undertaking an education course in agriculture, horticulture, or related subjects.
Adna Poppe was a Womens Division of Federated Farmers (WDFF) Dominion Councillor, Life Member of Rangitikei Federated Farmers, and Patron of Wanganui District Young Farmers’ Clubs. She was a woman whose interests were totally rural - hence this bursary to sponsor rural education.
The following must be included with the application:
Located in Rangitikei Oroua Provincial RWNZ Area
Undertaking courses in agriculture, horticulture, or related subjects
Applications should include details of the applicant’s financial situation and their degree of need for funding assistance
Applications are open to 31 January 2026.
The number of bursaries and their respective values will be at the discretion of the Adna Poppe Memorial Bursary Committee. The decision of the committee will be final.
