We provide independent Artificial Insemination services that allow farmers to make the genetic choices best suited to their operation, while we focus on doing the job properly and getting cows in-calf.
Southern Reproductive also provides a hands-on Artificial Insemination Training School, giving farmers, farm managers, and rural professionals the opportunity to build confidence and practical capability in AI. Our training combines theory, simulator-based learning, real reproductive tracts, and modern visual training technology to support better understanding, skill development, and on-farm results.
Alongside our reproductive services, Southern Reproductive is proud to be the New Zealand partner for IMV Technologies, a trusted global brand in veterinary ultrasound and advanced imaging technology. This has become a major part of our business, supplying IMV ultrasound systems to vets, lay scanners, and rural professionals across New Zealand, backed by local servicing, repairs, product support, and practical training. Our focus is not only on providing high-quality equipment, but on keeping our customers scanning with clear communication, reliable support, and solutions that work in real farm conditions.
Our team also provides pregnancy diagnostics, metritis detection and treatment, dry cow treatment, teat sealing, and additional reproductive support services to help farmers protect herd health and productivity throughout the season.
