Rural Women New Zealand welcomes new National President

Rural Women New Zealand warmly welcomes long-term member Heather Sorensen as the organisation’s new National President.

Heather has been a member of Rural Women New Zealand since 1979 and is the Regional Leader for the Top of the North Island. 

Heather says she is really excited to have the opportunity to lead the organisation forward as it heads into the next 100 years.  

“It has been great to be part of our centennial celebrations to date, so I am feeling very privileged to have been elected by my fellow members to be the National President of Rural Women New Zealand,” she says.
