About us
The Lower South Island Region of Rural Women NZ is Region 1. We are a busy, vibrant and welcoming network of women connected by community, support, and shared rural experiences.
With more than 30 branches and nearly 500 members across the region, there are countless opportunities to build meaningful connections, learn new skills, support one another, and be part of something bigger.
Whether you're looking to meet like-minded women, get involved in your local community, grow your network, or simply find your people, there’s a place for you in our region.
Join us for our AGM & Conference on Friday 26 June.

What we do
We are here to support you and your community.
We understand Rural life is rewarding, but it can also be isolating.
As a member, you’re part of a network that offers connection, practical help and opportunities to grow, so you never feel like you’re doing it alone.
We provide our members with opportunities to learn new skills and build professional networks in the agribusiness and rural sectors, as well as fostering the next generation of rural leaders.
