RWNZ backs Move Over Cancer Fundraiser

Rural Women New Zealand (RWNZ) is proud to be supporting PINC & STEEL, New Zealand’s only charity dedicated to cancer rehabilitation, for their Move Over Cancer Campaign. PINC & STEEL’s work helps people affected by cancer rebuild strength, confidence, and quality of life through specialised rehabilitation and exercise support.

Every March, PINC & STEEL run their Move Over Cancer, a community-powered, nationwide fundraiser where individuals, families, and friend groups host/dedicate a movement challenge to raise funds. Movement challenges could include a dance class, walk, run, bike ride, or a social sport like bowls, golf, tennis etc – if it gets people moving, it counts!

Funds raised help provide affected Kiwis with access to rehabilitation and exercise support through the Cancer Rehabilitation Foundation (PINC & STEEL) across Aotearoa.

We are encouraging all of our members to get involved and support this worthy cause.

By working together, we can help ensure rural New Zealanders aren’t left to navigate recovery alone.
