100 for 100
Join us in the RWNZ Centennial Project 100 for 100!
Rural Women NZ has always stood proudly for Service Simply Given - and what better way to honour our centennial than with a project that brings this legacy to life! This initiative is inspired by Bronwyn (of Greater Waikato) and her passion for giving back through handmade crafts. The idea? Do something generous that adds up to 100 and share your journey with us. Here are just a few ideas to get the creative juices flowing:
Knit 100 beanies to gift
Bake and give away 100 cookies
Volunteer 100 minutes (or hours)
Walk 100 km in 100 days
Or, invent your own meaningful 100
100 for 100 gives our members a chance to be a part of an exciting fun project which would fulfil some of the charitable work that RWNZ is so proud of. We'll be showcasing your efforts on our social media channels and in our newsletters. Together, we’ll capture a visual celebration of our values, community spirit, and creativity.
Project Dates: 1 July – 8 October 2025 (100 days!)
Waikato will be showcasing their projects on International Rural Women's Day October 15 2025
The project is proudly supported by RWNZ National Office. Greater Waikato warmly invite all regions to join in, let’s celebrate 100 years by coming together to give back in a way that reflects the heart of who we are.
We’d love to hear what you’ll be doing for your 100, fill in the form below to let us know! Regions may use this information to contact you after the project end date to see how you got on and if they’re showcasing projects locally they may ask you to take part.
