Strategy and Manifesto
Our Strategy and Manifesto
Rural Women New Zealand honours the legacy of the first women who saw the need for services and support in their communities, while looking forward to meet the needs of new generations of rural women.
Our Strategy 2025-2028 sets out Rural Women New Zealand’s vision for connected and thriving rural communities, built on three pillars: the economic wellbeing of rural women, the social and economic wellbeing of rural communities, and the personal wellbeing of rural women.
Our Policy Manifesto translates this vision into action, calling on government to commit to five key areas that improve the health and wellbeing of rural families and enhance community resilience. These priorities directly inform the work of our Policy Action Advisory Groups (PAAGs) and shape our advocacy submissions and campaigns.
